educational programs for the Department of Territorial Development. V. L. Glazycheva
What competencies should a modern urban project management specialist have?
In 2017, the Citymakers team, specifically for the Department of Territorial Development of the School of Design of the Institute of Social Sciences, RANEPA, developed a professional development program for managers in the field of urban development - "City Projects".
The educational program was drawn up on the basis of a study of foreign practices and relevant competencies required by modern specialists. The program consists of three blocks - lectures, training on an online platform and practical exercises. Lectures are given by specialists - top managers of large companies, as well as Russian and foreign experts in the field of urban planning and architecture. Practical classes are held at the largest city sites in Moscow: in the parks "Zaryadye", "Zilarte" and others. The first two streams of students successfully completed their studies and received state diplomas.
In 2019, another RANEPA program, Master of Public Policy, was launched by Citymakers in cooperation with leading experts in the field of urban planning and architecture.
